Natural Luxury Sommelier Challenge is a competition concept where expertise in mixology and gastronomy is celebrated through the lens of tea. It provides a platform for F&B professionals to showcase “gastro-mixo” expertise to modern consumers seeking sustainable and innovative offerings.

 

The challenge emphasizes “Natural Luxury,” focusing on taste that springs from the influence of nature—including sunshine, soil, temperature, and humidity.

 

Key Components of Evaluation

    • Gastronomy: Cooking with tea (infusions, garnishes) and food pairing.
    • Mixology: Expertise in preparing alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and low-ABV drinks using tea as a core ingredient.
    • Sustainability: Use of ethically and sustainably crafted tea and herb infusions.

Demonstrate leadership in encouraging tea-inspired professionals through training and global exposure.
Brand Ambassadorship
Create Brand Ambassadors to represent Dilmah within their spheres of influence.
Innovation
Showcase talent in tea-infused culinary arts and tea-based mixology.
Team Structure
Each team consists of 02 individuals: 01 F&B Expert and 01 Culinary Expert.

Open to Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants, and Hotel Schools.
